Welcome to the 2010 program for the Youth Room sponsored by Imagination International. The Youth Room is located south of the Exhibit Hall. (Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.)
During the Celebration, visit the Youth Room for nonstop fun
with ongoing games, educational activities, performances, demonstrations and more!
Kids! Don't forget to pick up your event ESAAY
Passport to Adventure. A limited number (2,000)of the passports are available at the entrance. Celebrate the event theme "Reflections of Asia" by taking your passport around the
festival site to learn about important discoveries in Asia or by Asian and Asian Americans. Look for
clues to find your passport destinations at the festival.
For younger children, we have placed an enlarged picture
of the passport stamp at each booth to make it easier
to find. Once your passport is completely stamped,
visit the ESAAY (Eugene Springfield Asian American Youth)Booth in the Marketplace and
receive a prize!

Come visit the Kumoricon room, for a little taste of the anime convention experience! Kumoricon is a 3 day anime convention in Portland, Oregon, which got it's start down here in Eugene. We love that we can come back to our home city and bring some of the fun of Kumoricon with us. We will have video gaming and karaoke, and as always, cosplay is encouraged.
11 am -- Video Gaming
We will have a variety of video games, including DDR and Mario Kart, for you to enjoy - you can play as a group with friends or on your own. Or, check out our karaoke library, with choices from J-pop/J-rock to anime and video game themes. Wow the crowd as a solo act, or sing with friends... its all for fun!
Saturday, 4:00 p.m. -- Cosplayers
stop by the room Saturday at 4pm for a chance to meet up with others cosplaying at the Celebration this year.
